Many South Indian meals start with a small bowl of soup called rasam. It's traditionally thin and tart - based on a delicious mix of tomatoes and tamarind. From there, you add spices like whole red chiles, mustard seeds, curry leaves, and rasam powder to pull it all together. You can use this powder traditionally or even sprinkled into an Indian-inspired stir-fry. Just like all of my other blends, you can even garnish your popcorn with it to give it an extra kick.
Ingredients: Split Gram (Chana Dal), Black Gram (Urad Dal), Moong Dal, Pigeon Peas (Toor Dal), Coriander, Cumin, Black Peppercorn, Fenugreek, Dried Red Chile, Curry Leaves, and Turmeric Powder.
