Indian cookbook author Anupy Singla cooking on WGN Midday News

A little intense - but that's exactly how how I feel about my Aloo Gobi! This is a candid shot from my appearance in January on the WGN Midday Lunchbreak segment. Thanks to everyone there for giving me a little air time!

I'll try to post the clip soon.

What a fabulous chef Anupy is. My two year old had indian food for the first and could not get enough of the lentil, including the lentil and cumin as well as the chicken. I also loved them all and especially enjoyed the cumin lentils as I thought it had both a sweet and tangy flavor. The stew was incredible, both full of flavor and healthy vegetable. It was quite spicy which I enjoyed thoroughly but a little too much for my daughter. I am looking forward to trying the other dishes over the weekend. Lori

I found your blog on 101 Cookbooks. I'm really looking forward to your book. Recently I've been eating at an Indian restaurant here and want to learn to cook all the fabulous food. Years ago I hung out with some foodies – but they were disciples of Alice W. I can't wait to try some of your recipes.
