Yeah, it's summer. But doesn't that mean you want to spend more time outside playing rather than over a hot stove or grill cooking? I'm going to defy crockpot logic and say summer more than ever is a time to pull out your good 'ole slow cooker. Especially if it means making/cooking authentic Indian food in mere minutes of prep time.
If you want to check out some of my tried and true recipes send me an email. I'll be packaging the dry beans along with the spices for you. So, all you have to do is buy the fresh ingredients, prep them, throw it into the crockpot along with my recipe and you're good to go.
Here are the recipes available so far:
Punjabi Chili: Kidney Beans (Rajmah)
Garbanzo Beans in Curry (Chana)
Amla Infused Garbanzo Beans (Sooka Chana)
The cost is just $10 plus shipping for a package of 2 cups of beans and all the spices needed for that one dish. This will make you about 8 - 10 cups of curry. Everything right now is portioned for a 4 - 5 - quart slow cooker. I can modify to other sizes. Just ask.
This way you don't have to scramble to purchase anything individually.
